Ep31 of Thinking of Art features brothers and artists Clayton and Parker Calvert. We spoke about the incredible drone footage they have captured from cities around the world, untold stories, plans for a future exhibition, and their love of nature.

Clayton and Parker Calvert are brothers and artists who frequently collaborate. Clayton’s primary practice is oil painting and sculpting. Parker’s primary practice is Photography and Filmmaking. The Drone Project began in 2015 when the two decided to aerially explore their hometown of NYC. After completing this project, the two extended their project to a number of international locations. Drones provided a unique way of seeing cities that no other tool could provide.

The pair were fortunate enough to be in Rome for the first snowfall in a decade there. This opportunity kicked off the Italian leg of drone videos. The Calvert brothers hope that this footage will inspire others to appreciate the incredible beauty of the world around them.
