For Ep9 of Thinking of Art, I welcomed Celebrity Interior Designer Jamie Drake of Drake/Anderson. Mr. Drake spoke about how his business is adjusting during Covid-19, new ways to source art for design projects, and thoughts on the future of art fairs. Known for his incredible kindness and eye for color and energy.
Jamie also shared some of his philanthropic passion projects such as his current involvement with Parsons School of Design’s student emergency fund, his work with The Alpha Workshops, and The New York Community Trust (which recently established the Covid-19 Response and Impact Fund).
Mr. Drake also shared a career highlight working on the restoration of Gracie Mansion in NYC in 2002 after 9/11 (and his long-term client Mayor Michael Bloomberg). For more information on Mr. Drake and his company Drake/Anderson, visit Drake/Anderson.
