For Ep12 of Thinking of Art, I welcome Executive Director of Project Angel Food, Richard Ayoub. To help support the efforts of LA’s Project Angel Food, we teamed to help raise money for their COVID-19 Emergency Fund. The following artworks have been donated by these artists: Alexandra Grant, Jwan Yosef, Lia Halloran, Michael Genovese, and Enrique Martinez Celaya. 100% of proceeds from sales of ALL of these works go towards their COVID-19 Emergency Fund. To purchase any of the works, please email Laura at Project Angel Food or simply make a donation, here.

Project Angel Food was created by a group of compassionate volunteers who were concerned about our most fragile community members suffering in silence from malnutrition and the many other ravages of HIV/AIDS. Founded by Marianne Williamson in 1989 as an outreach program of the Los Angeles Center for Living, which helps people with life-threatening illnesses.

All of their meal plans are tailored for each client’s needs and cooked with love using the freshest ingredients to offer the most health benefits. Project Angel Food’s Client Services professionals and Registered Dietitians work as a team to nourish clients so they can survive their illness with dignity and strength. They provide valuable nutrition counseling so clients who go off service can remain healthy and well throughout the rest of their lives.
